Reasons for Using a Coloured Overlay:

At least half of people with SpLD or dyslexia have subtle visual problems. These may include:

Eye strain
Headaches
Missing out bits of text
Losing place on the page
Blurred or double vision
Fatigue while reading
Visual perceptual distortions
Text appearing to move or swim
Flashing colours or patterns
Shapes or interference on page
Glare from white paper
